Troubleshoot common problems
Start by checking the current workspace, connectivity, and visible status message. Those three details explain most missing-record and delayed-save reports.
I cannot find a record
- Check the workspace name in the header.
- Switch between the organization and My Apiaries if necessary.
- Clear list filters and search terms.
- Check whether the apiary or hive is inactive.
- Review History before recreating the record.
A feature or tab is missing
Some areas are controlled by workspace features or plan access. Ask a workspace owner about organization access. System-level configuration is handled by HiveAware support or the platform operator.
A save is pending
Check the pending-sync indicator. If you are offline, keep the browser data intact and reconnect later. If a cooldown is shown, wait until it expires instead of resubmitting.
See Offline use and sync for the safe recovery sequence.
A photo or document will not upload
- Confirm the file type is supported by the form.
- Use a smaller file if the displayed upload limit is exceeded.
- Keep the page open until the upload confirms success.
- Retry once on a stable connection.
A map location is wrong
Edit the source apiary, hive, trap, or neighboring-yard record. Confirm the address search result or pin before saving, then reopen Maps.
A QR label does not scan
- Clean the camera and label surface.
- Improve lighting and hold the device steady.
- Confirm the entire code is visible.
- Print a larger replacement if the code is damaged.
- Search for the hive by name or public ID as a fallback.
Sign-in no longer works
Use the password-reset flow if the password is unknown. If the session was intentionally invalidated, sign in again and confirm the correct workspace loads before pending work synchronizes.
