Record feeding

Feeding records help separate what was supplied from what the colony stored or consumed naturally.

Feature availability

The Feeding area appears when feeding is enabled for the current workspace.

Add a feeding event

1. Open Feeding.
2. Choose Add feeding.
3. Select a hive or apiary target. Leave it unassigned only when the event truly has no specific target.
4. Choose the feed type, such as syrup, fondant, pollen, dry sugar, or another available option.
5. Record the amount, ratio when relevant, date, reason, and notes.
6. Save the event.

Review feeding history

Filter the list by hive-linked, apiary-linked, or unassigned events. Use consistent units and clear reasons so later comparisons remain meaningful.

If a feeder needs removal or replenishment on a particular date, create a connected task rather than relying on the feeding note alone.
